  • Pioneered LLM-powered search features, launching the first-ranked “Answer Card” now live in every major market
  • Incubated an in-app Copilot-style Chatbot, creating innovation scenarios such as “Ask after watching” and multimodal creation.
  • Own the overall AI-search experience enhancement, building a RAG + Function Call agentic framework shared across search scenario and Chatbot.
  • Improved model quality through SFT, Rubrics RL and URM-based personalization, placing TikTok AI search in the global first tier.

  • Built the industry-leading general-retrieval system for smart speakers to satisfy surging demand for media, knowledge and apps.
  • Redesigned VUI dialogue and intelligent-response experience for voice-first interaction.

  • Led Baidu search’s AI-era search feature, built first ranked ‘search card’, drove ‘first-result satisfaction ratio’ from 20% to 50%; results cited in multiple financial earnings calls. - Used first-result ability to incentivize partners, enterprises, governments, and celebrities to produce premium content, upgrading the entire ecosystem.
